Q: How do I become a member?
A: Click Here, download and print the membership application. Follow the instructions. Then mail it.
Q: How long is my membership good for?
A: All membership are good from January 1st through December 31st.
Q: When should I renew my membership?
A: Invoices are mailed by the 1st or 2nd week of December each year and all dues are payable by January 1st. You will not receive a reminder.
Q: Can I pay my membership renewal on line?
A: No. Go to the membership Page.
Q: When will I get my membership card?
A: Once you have submitted you membership application it usually takes about 2-4 weeks to process.
Q: Can my membership fee be prorated?
A: Sorry, no not at this time.
Q: Do I have to go through a orientation?
A: Every “New” member or a member that has not renewed in the past 3 years MUST go through an onsite orientation.
Q: How do I arrange for an orientation?
A: After we receive your application you will be contacted by the person that handles the orientations.
Q: I sent in my application and have not received anything?
A: We are very good on mailing out membership cards. One reason is that we my not have your current or correct address. It is very important that you keep us up to date on where you want your mail to go. Please write legibly so the membership person can read your writing.
Q: Someone asked me for the gate code can I give this out to a friend or relative?
A: Absolutely NOT, this will result in loosing your membership to the club.
Q: Can I enter the club grounds without my membership card?
A: No, you should always have your membership card on or close to you. We do have volunteers that periodically check for cards. You must produce your card on demand to the card checker. If you do not have you card on you, you will be asked to leave or to go home and get your card. If you live a long way from the club it my be an inconvenience to you but it helps protect other members from non-members entering illegally.
Q: As a member can I bring a guest?
A: Yes, but please limit the number of guest to 2 maximum. Your guest are allowed to come on our property twice, after that they need to become members.
Q: I have called the club and I get the answering machine?
A: The club is run by volunteers so there is no one to manage the phone most of the time. You can leave a message and when a volunteer gets into the office they should return your call. The fastest way to get and answer is by email. You should email the club Secretary, Bruce Mower. firstname.lastname@example.org
Q: What types of shooting ranges do we have?
A: One 30 yard outdoor pistol range • one outdoor rifle range with berms at 25, 50, 100, 200 and 300 yards • one action pistol range with 6 bays • two trap ranges • one sporting clays course • one archery range, located at the east end of the action pistol range.
Q: What size shot for my shotgun can I shoot?
A: If you are shooting Trap or Sporting Clays then 7 1/2 or smaller shot size. If you are on the rifle range or Action Ranges you may shoot a slug for target practice ONLY.
